You hit the nail on the head. They do for sure! But as much as the good-byes suck, the "welcome home" and "hello again" are out of this world. A good friend always reminds me of this, 'how do you eat an elephant?' 'one bite at a time.' And just remember every day gets you one bite closer to devouring that elephant.
