So much to do...

and yet here I sit. Looking out my window as the wind blows the fall leaves down the street.

Maxwell is down for his nap and I just can't get motivated to do anything. Maybe I need a list? To see how much I really need to do?

take garbage out
clean up breakfast dishes
bake apple cake
write up 250 book titles for media-library committee
copy recipe for secretary at P's school
read next chapter in book study book
find more paper for book titles for media-library committee
3 loads of laundry to wash, dry and fold
confirm play date for today? eek. Is that happening??
bake muffins when apple cake is done
staff appreciation committee meeting at 2pm

and that's just for TODAY. ugh...anyone else feel like their list never ends?

"Having a husband creates an extra seven hours a week of housework for women, according to a University of Michigan study of a nationally representative sample of U.S. families. For men, the picture is very different: A wife saves men from about an hour of housework a week."

My list never ends either! When I check one thing off it seems 2 more things get added. Somedays I feel the same as you and hope that if I ignore it then it will go away,LOL!!

I'm having that kind of day as well. I have to put the second coat of paint on the bathroom walls during nap time, but I really just want to take a nap myself!

I'm taking bets that only half of your list actually gets done! Let me know if I'm right! Have fun!

Couldn't agree more! I just keep thinking how much worse my list will look after number two arrives... twice the laundry, and half the time!

To me that sounds like a typically boring day for you. We all have times when we want to rebel and not work on our "TODO's". Moms usually get done what they have to anyway. Dads just blow it off until the "Round to it" strikes. Maybe next year I will finish my "Honeydo's" but I doubt it.

It gets completely overwhelming sometimes, doesn't it? Just do one thing at a time and the most important things first and don't stress about what you don't get to. It will be there waiting for you when you get the chance (I don't know how comforting that is. LOL). Oh, and I like your little statistic there. It all makes so much more sense now. ;-)

I think I have lists all over the place...and I don't think I ever get one of them completey checked off. Of course that could be because I always start a new one with more items to check off. HA!

And I like to avoid. Like right now, I should be working on some things on said list, but I have spent time working on posts for my blog instead.

I just have to say, thank goodness I don't have a husband, that extra housework would put me waaaaay behind! ;)
