With Payton's swimming lessons, we've got to be out to the house by 8:30am every morning. Day four and it's getting old...and harder. Not to mention that Maxwell, who's been peacefully sleeping through the night for the first time EVER, was up at 1:30am and again at 7:30am. Ugh. I'm so not a morning person.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do when school starts in the fall. Payton has to be AT SCHOOL at 8:00am every day. That means leaving the house by 7:40am. That means we have to be up and moving by 7:10am or so. Are the roads even open that early in the morning? Thankfully there's a coffee shop with a drive through on my way home from the school.
Maybe I'll find a nanny for the 7am-9am shift. LOL

{{{hugs}}} you'll do it because you just have to - that's what we moms do!
hint for tending to maxwell on these mornings: do as little as possible with him. change his diaper, leave him in his jammies and let him sleep right up until you have to leave if he will. feed him breakfast when you get home. the mornings E would cooperate with this plan made everything sooooo much easier.
...and ROFL on the question of the roads being open yet. LOL!!!!
It will all work out and you'll get into your schedule. I'd start your morning routine a few weeks before school starts so that you and the boys will already be getting adjusted when it's time for school.
And yes the roads are open and most importantly- so is Starbucks!!LOL!
I hear ya, girl. We have to get up at 6:50 here, to get the kids to the school by 7:42. It's going to be worse this year, because Gavin is on service squad and has to be there by 7:30, so with two kids going in the morning, I'm thinking we're gonna have to be up by 6:30 every morning. I am so not a morning person and so not looking forward to that. I have to say though, I get a lot more done during the school year, when I'm getting up earlier, so that's a bonus, I guess. LOL While I won't say it will ever be enjoyable to get up that early, trust me in the fact that it will become routine and much less miserable as time goes on.
Goodness what are we going to do?? We are going to have a lot to get used to . . . Seriously, I look forward to school, but not that part of school. That is the exact reason why I made sure this summer was fun and we didn't have set plans for being somewhere at one specific time ;) lol
Hey you take 2 days I'll take 3. However I think we may need a 10 passenger van!
I was never a morning person either.
Sadly, school makes you get up early. It stinks but you'll get used to it (meaning it will only suck a little, not a lot.)
Kids don't know this, but we cheer for snow days and Saturdays, too. LOL.
*hug*
Oh hon! I am so right there with you. I am so going to miss rolling out of bed at 10 or 11. Luckily, I can leave two kids sleeping with Jay while I take EM to the bus stop across the street. THANK GOODNESS! But, yeah. I am not a huge fan of 8 am either. Noon is more like it. :)
